I had a screw head rounded off on a motorcycle fender. This tool was so incredible. I had little room to work with my fork and some cables in the way. The tool was too short reach the screw so I sized up and standard drill bit and widened the head to match the extractor I was using. I ended up attaching a socket to one end and inserting the threaded end into the screw head and it worked so well. I was so amazed how easy it was. The only draw back was as I said, the length of these tools are short.

Worked like a charm. Make sure you get the hole deep enough on step one. Also be careful not to strip what it's screwed into (if it's a machine screw) by picking too large a bit.
Picture is of a screw that broke in half on a desk chair.

Didn't think these would be all that great, for the price I figure I'd give them a try. The first time I had to use them it was a simple extract and they worked great. I'm writing this review because the extract I recently did impressed me. I avoided trying these because the bolt was seized good and with a lot of torque it wasn't coming out. At the point of damaging components I decided to give this tool a try expecting it to break off and continue with destruction. Not only did it drill fast and bite down hard, it took a good load of torque. This tool is either built tough or it was divine intervention. Maybe a little of both, but glad I had the option and impressed.
My computer case window was incredibly damaged and scratched so I decided to remove the plastic acrylic window. Got all the screws out without a problem except for for 2 little screws. I tried and tried so much force and different screwdrivers. Ended up damaged the heads of the screws. Now nothing could get them out. Except for today. Ordered these with one day shipping had to get that darn window off. Used the smallest size and I used an electrical screw driver, and popped out each one in less than a minute. Does wonders!!!

had a silver metal screw that was very stuck on our refrigerator (we needed to switch the handles on the doors). We had stripped the screw severely. after trying vice grips and other methods, we decided to invest in this tiny tool set. Cant tell you how satifying it is to solve a frustrating problem like this in less then 30 seconds.
30 seconds is how long it took to choose the bit, bore out the damaged area using one side of the bit, flip it, and extract. First the extraction side slides into the bored out head of the screw, it turns a few times, grabs the metal, and then the screw has no choice, it is coming out. worked to perfection!
Received as stated. The product works like a charm in removing stripped deck screws.

accidents may not happen often but they still happen. This has saved 1 project and will save the next oops.
